加州一對女同志Melinda & Dani 2010年6月結婚，後來其中一方想有埋「老公」，於是在2014與Jonathan「非正式」行婚禮，結合為兩妻一夫。夫妻三人還希望，有朝一日，法律會承認他們的「非法」婚姻關係。
